Woodland Biofuels is the privately-owned developer and marketer of patented processing technologies that use waste biomass to produce alternative fuels that are conventionally derived from fossil fuels or fermentation of grains. There is a huge, expanding supply of ligno-celllulose waste available throughout the world which can be used efficiently as feedstock for a Woodland plant. We design plants that take full advantage of the technologies' varied capabilities to suit each customer's specific requirements. We typically sell the plants on a turnkey basis, handing them over to the plant purchaser following commissioning.

Technology Description:

Catalyzed Pressure Reduction™ is an emission-free technology that produces energy products from renewables. It converts organic materials into ethanol or industrial chemicals, and electrical power. The plants are configured to produce the product most suitable for efficient energy recovery from the feedstock at hand.

CPR™ uniquely accomplishes efficient conversion of renewable feedstock into valuable end products via three major phases: Gasification, Catalyzed chemical reactions and Distillation.

Products and Services:

Our plants can convert virtually all forms of biomass (such as wood and crop residues), biosolids (sewage in various forms) and other renewable resources into ethanol and other fuels, industrial chemicals, electrical energy, and, of growing importance in many regions of our crowded world, pure, reformulated water. Unlike other processes, Woodland's plants can ensure consistent, high quality, low-cost output. We take pride in stressing that our processes are not only pollution-free but can generate significant quantities of emission credits.
