Profile:

The name EnEco is derived from the core belief that: ENvironmental problems need ECOnomical and ECOlogically sound solutions. This underlying philosophy inspired and guides the corporate goal: To convert harmful solid wastes through gasification into clean energy (electrical, air conditioning, steam, etc.) and recover recyclable materials in an efficient, cost effective manner using EnEco's vanguard products CORE (an acronym for Controlled Oxidation Reaction Environment), TOPS (Thermal Oxidation Process System), or MAS (Microbial Acceleration System) Digestion. EnEco is devoted to the application and development of innovative environmental technology solutions by selling and/or owning and operating these systems worldwide.

Technologies:

Biomass

Products and Services:

CORE
EnEco Waste-to-Energy plants employ low temperature gasification technology, which is utilized in a number of locations in the world. These plants are referred to as Controlled Oxidization Reduction Environments (CORE).

CORE operates in two phases:

Firstly, unsorted, as delivered waste slowly passes through a lower gasification chamber where temperatures are maintained at approximately 550°C in an oxygen deprived environment. Organic materials that pass through the lower chamber slowly change state from solid to gaseous form.

Secondly, the volatile syngases produced are induced into an upper chamber to be oxidized at high temperatures of approximately 1000°C. Landfill gas, if available, may be mixed in with biogas generated in the CORE gasification chamber at this stage. Waste is reduced to recyclable materials comprised of metal, glass and inert materials that are washed, sized and prepared for use in construction.

TOPS
EnEco was put on TOP of the world by the Canadian Department of Defence who chose TOPS for their mixed solid and liquid waste management needs in the Northern most community on earth.

TOPS is a small, push button system that takes all garbage without sorting. It needs no stand-by operator. It has hardly any moving parts, so maintenance is easy. Any small community or remote resort that requires a on site solution to garbage and waste oils, solvents, etc. can use TOPS.
