MagPower Systems Inc. has developed powerful, reliable and environmentally friendly non-toxic inhibitors that have been proven to control the formation of hydrogen in metal electrowinning processes. There are over 30 such inhibitors developed for these processes. The commercial application for the hydrogen inhibitors will significantly reduce power consumption and increase the efficiency in the electrowinning production of metals such as zinc, manganese, cobalt, gold, silver, copper and nickel. Use of the hydrogen inhibitors in the zinc electrowinning process alone, reduces world annual power consumption by up to $250,000,000.
