Description:
The morning portion of the course is designed to help participants understand the fundamentals of power generation and how project revenue sources, plant operating costs, financing costs and tax considerations impact a project evaluation.
In the afternoon participants will be provided with four excel models for wind, simple cycle gas turbine, combined cycle and hydro plants. Participants will complete portions of these models and run scenarios on them. The objective of this portion of the course is to help participants understand how to model and evaluate the economics of a plant.
